Hank did take all the pictures, but the Siesta motel sign does not go with the motel pictured. The Siesta was a little too rundown for Ed and Hank to want to stay there, but it isn't as rundown as depicted. That was Hank using a bit of that there 'dramatic license'...
Thank you for coming back to Hank and Ed.. I think this
is one of the sweetest stories ever written in the BBM setting. I love the banter. thanks again. janice
Thanks! Hank had thought their story was ending at least twice now, but Ed keeps doing more stuff. (And besides, it's the only story Hank knows :) )
Loved it, as always!
They make me laugh, they make me cry, and they generally leave me with a real stupid smile on my face.
Thanks for another great installment.
Glad they made you laugh and smile (Though Hank doesn't like to make anyone cry.) Thanks for reading!
Ed and Hank, the best pick me up for my day, no vitamin, aspirin or what ever else a body has to take to make it true the day. You and your boys are the best medicine ever.If we could bottle the wisdom and charm of the three of you, the world would be a better place.
Thank you and keep stopping by.
Thanks! That is so sweet of you to say. And we will probably keep stopping by until we wear out our welcome. :D
hearinm them lay out all the emotions of the reunion that we've just imagined... thanks!
Glad you liked it. Thanks!
Gotta love 'em, especially Hank and his 'dramatic licence'!
Hank does enjoy taking that dramatic licence out for a spin every now and again. Glad they made you grin!
So glad you liked it. And I hope today is going better for you. :)
These two are so funny! Planning a "reenactment" of the tempestuous reunion of their younger selves but changing the script to accommodate their older selves...
"Ya gonna slam me 'gainst the door like ya did tha' nigh'...?"
"Ya want me ta slam ya 'gainst the door?"
"I dunno...Shoulder's hurtin' me a little...Musta slept on it wrong last nigh' or somethin'. But... guess it'd be okay if'n ya did it kinda gentle like..."
"Guess I could do tha'...Jus' try it in slow-motion maybe..."
"Ya gonna rip my shirt again...? I kinda like this shirt..."
"Prob'bly...Don' hardly see no way 'round it... Maybe you could change inta a shirt ya don' like as much'fore we check in 'n all."
"Think maybe I could manage tha'."
Ed buys a cheap new shirt and passes up the camping gear for the vitamins. Next thing ya know, he'll be getting a prescription for Viagra.
Thanks once again for the laughs and the warm, fuzzy feeling I get from these lovable guys.
Glad you enjoyed their age-adjusted reenactment! (They did too. And sure, it wasn't quite the same, but in some ways it was a lot better.)
As to Ed and Viagra... LOL! I'm afraid even Hank wouldn't be able to keep up with that combination.
Oooh, a new update! Yes!! I just adore Ed and Hank. Especially when they decide to do a "re-enactment". 0;)
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed their re-enacting. (I know they can ham it up quite a bit...)
Funny and lovely as always
Thank you for this
So glad you liked it. Thanks!
I'm real glad I got ta spend so much
a my life with ya."
"Glad I got ta spend so much a mine
with you too, Ed... But..."
"It ain't 'xactly over yet, dumbass."
"Okay... How 'bout...
Glad I got ta spend so much a my life with ya
up ta 'n includin' ta day anyways. 'N mos' likely includin' tomorrow too.
If'n 'm lucky 'nough ta survive
tonigh', that is..."
"Don' worry Ed...
I'll help ya make it through the night'."
"I jus' bet ya will..."
Just saying a prayer of thanks, and not for a harmonica.
Thanks for the prayer!
(Ed 'n Hank ain't the best at prayin', but they sure are thankful for everythin' they got...)
If that lil' conversation ain't a prayer answered, I don't know what is.
An' I think the One who answered it knew it fer a prayer, too. Don't make no difference if Ed 'n Hank don't think their prayers are any good, or even heard. They got answered, an' that's whut counts. And we KNOW they're grateful. Except maybe not so much for Hank's singin. :D
I think, if pressed, Ed would even admit to bein' grateful for Hank's singin'...
(Ed just said 'no way'.)
(But I think he's lyin'.)
Wonderful as usual, the love they share all along those years, the banter Oh, so many thing I enjoy. Thank you very much.Martha
So glad you're enjoying Ed and Hank's story. Thanks!

I for new men on the market
Yes we all look but well nothing matches what we already have at home and boy are we lucky in that department. Nice night of memories in a hotel full of hopes, desires and love. Yes, who needs a shirt for much else but a cum rag. Joe
Glad you enjoyed their night of reminiscing (and whatnot). Love your description of the "hotel full of hopes, desires and love." It sure was way back when and this summer too.
Aw ain't they sweet? Now do you think they could manage a few more 'reconstructions' like snit and tnit, and...
Ed sure is getting into role playing isn't he. Hope Hank has some more good scripts up his sleeve- so to speak.
A few more 'reconstructions' might kill poor Ed. (Just kidding, the man's as strong as a horse.) You're right, for some reason traveling seems to bring out the role playing in Ed. Hank doesn't really understand why, but he's not going to argue with it, he'just going to enjoy it.
